Identification Sheets
Welcome to the chairlift identification section of Skilifts.org.
This section is to show some of the designs that certain lift companies
have used and how these can be used to identify that manufacturer.
(Note: Not all of the links work yet so please be patient.)
Doppelmayr:
The Doppelmayr group, which consists of Doppelmayr, Garaventa,
and Doppelmayr CTEC (Doppelmayr of america), has been dubbed
the single most succesful lift company in the world their
designs are very unique because Doppelmayr has merged and/or
bought out multiple companies.

Leitner-POMA:
The Leitner group, which consists of Leitner, Poma, and Leitner-POMA
, is the second largest lift manufacturer in North America.

Lift
Engineering:
Lift Engineering built lifts that are known as Yan lifts.
They are well known for being very creative and subtle at
the same time in design. Unfortunatly, this somewhat lead
to the demise of the company.

Riblet:
During the 70's there was a big boom in the ski industry and
the lift industry as well. Riblet is known as number one manufacturer
of that era. This page covers the designs that made them so
popular during this time.
