Other Notes:

This lift was an up and over. But yes that is an abandoned lift at Hyak. That lift hasn't run since the mid or early eighties, it was owned by Pac-West when it had a mishap and some people were injured. When it came to putting quite a bit of money into maintaining it, Pac-West who was hard for cash opted to mothball it rather than fix it, so there it sits. As for running again, no its been ripped apart and isn't functionable anymore. Booth plans on removing the lift and adding a HSQ in its place, as well as removing Keechelus. The Silver Fir (at Summit Central) could be a candidate for removal and put on the backside of Hyak, Booth has the go ahead to expand into Hidden Valley again.
