Other notes:

The Burke Mountain POMA has had three major changes in it's life. It was originally built in 1956 to the summit of the mountain. It was then shorted to approximately 1500 ft in length in the 1960s to where the lift's mid-station is currently located. Finally in 1993 the turn tower was installed and the lift was lengthened to 3185 feet, to terminate in it's current location.
