Eagle
Peak Accelerator at Willamette Pass, Oregon
By Cameron
H.
Here
are some pictures I took pack in 2002 of the Eagle Peak Accelerator
at Willamette Pass, Oregon being installed. The lift costed $3.5
million and was manufactured by Doppelmayr CTEC and was installed
by Outback Construction of Ashland, Oregon. The Eagle Peak Accelerator's
terminal design is the Garaventa CTEC Steath 3 design. The Eagle
Peak Accelerator is a high-speed six-pack in the winter time and
then converted over to a gondola in the summer.
