Nothing to do with signs but funny nonetheless. Happened at Keystone.

Around here you have to watch out for skiing kangaroos and wombats.

Here's one I came up with for truck APUs!

TriPacs are amongst the best in the business for being quiet and reliable, while Rigmasters are by far the NOISIEST!

Actually, as well as wombats and kangaroos on skis, we have to look out for gnomes on our snowfield roads.

The road sign above may look a little incongruous, but things become clear when you get to this tree...

Posted Image

The gnomes redecorate their tree from time to time and they can often be seen picnicking outside.

Seriously, the tree was transformed overnight during summer almost 10 years ago. No one is quite sure who did it, although people have their suspicions.

Since then it has been a great success for promoting the ski resort and they even have a "Gnome Roam" walk that visits gnarled trees and interesting buildings. Kids who complete the Gnome Roam get free promotional stickers. http://www.mtbuller....Snow/Gnome-Roam

You are SPOT ON about that. The system is every bit as decadent as Karl Marx predicted it would be.
