Hey Rob, was the Excellerator Chair originally indended to be a bubbled chair? I wondered this because the armrests have those white plastic inserts that all the bubbled chairs do.

Excelerator was going to be a bubble chair, but not anymore.
If we go to an 8 pax on the Whistelr Express the theoretical capacity will be the same with more cabins on line. Actual capacity will increase with better loading efficiency. Cabins could be like these http://www.cwa.ch/en...om3_lwi_si.html

Do they ever load those cabins with 10 passengers? it seems 8 is already a tight squeeze.

10 is an even tighter squeeze. After crossing the Black chair you want to sit down, but there's no room. I've done that a few times; part of the issue is there's no ski/board storage on the outside of the cabins.

New terminal equipment? What's being replaced, conveyor systems (chains with tires) or is there more?

It seems to change, but motors, gearbox, PTO system. Remove conveyor chains and replace with tyres (except transfer chains at mid). Cabins, grips.

Next year we are going to swap schedules, Whistler will close at the end of April, and the retro work will go on for 9 weeks. Blackcomb will stay open for the spring session.
