I am currently a student at the Colorado School of Mines and student worker at the Information Center for Ropeway Studies. For those who don't know, the Ropeway Center at Mines is the largest public resource on ropeway systems in the United States. The collection includes a variety of articles, conference proceedings, catalogs, photos, prints, and other historic material from the ropeway industry, One of our current goals is to increase the usage and overall awareness of the collection in the industry. I wanted to share some of our resources on this forum for those who may be interested.

In addition to these online resources, there is a physical collection located in the Arthur Lakes Library at Mines in Room 309. For the Spring Semester (now through the first week of May), the collection will be open to the public to browse (no appointment necessary) from 12:00-2:30 on Wednesdays and Fridays.
