Actually it wasn't in too bad of shape when I was on her many years ago in my early teens. Although I am curious as to how common it is in the industry to add extra weight to the counterweight like they appeared to have done here.. note those bricks or slabs on top of the weight.. haha.

2 of the lifts were sold to other resorts since Ascutney shut down in 2010, The HSQ and one of the tripple chairs. But as far as I know the others including Sunrise are still standing. The community there managed to get a tow type of lift up and running this past season, we'll have to see what things have in store in the next year or so.

IE- remaining Lift. I was just there last night on a mountain bike trip, only remaining older lift is the Hall Double. Looks to be in great shape. I know the community wants to operate the double eventually.. The new rope tow is easier to maintain/ insure at the moment though (and far less vertical)
