I'll be at Loveland next Saturday, but I'm heading to Copper tomorrow. Hopefully the coverage is good enough.

Currently it is snowing here. We have about 4 inches give or take here at my house from the past week or so. It is still coming down.

Any idea when the new Sheer Bliss chair will open or is it open already?

I would assume when Alpine Springs Opens.

I'm not sure if they have built the ramps yet on it or not. If I'm off on Thursday I will ski the burn and get some pics of the top terminal. I hear the Top shack is really nice.

It's gonna be another Wild ride this weekend. Lots of Snow and wind for the Aspen Snowmass areas.

Buttermilk is opening with all lifts and 70% of the runs open, Highlands will have 5 lifts running inculding the Deep T.

Snowmass is planning on opening Alpine Springs either on Friday or Saturday. Elk Camp opened yesterday.

Nice, I thought we were lucky getting the 70+/-" so far this season. It Didn't snow today  for the first time in 12-13+ days. And even some rain is expected this weekend as a storm moves to the west. My Scottdale's done his fair share of plowing work already this year. We were on the same pace in '06, when just before X-mas it went to 40+ for a month straight. Hello, Wood; Knock Knock, let's stay cold. There isn't much like stepping off the groomed packed and dropping in deep, at least in Dec.

Knee deep last night when I left bar at the area. We had a very soft opening on Friday with just the beginner chair on man-made. At least the wheels are turning now.

Sheer Bliss opened for public tranport for 15 mins then closed for the day due to high winds.

At the Top of the VX we had winds up to 65mph. Lift was dialed down to about 100fpm at one point for a few mins. It's Dumping up there right now. :)

In the light of day, however, the season seems friendlier.
Granddaughter Keisha persuaded me to help with a snowman.
