Theres a place for all of God's creatures, right next to the mashed potatoes.
"You could say that a mountain is alot like a woman, once you think you know every inch of her and you're about to dip your skis into some soft, deep powder...Bam, you've got two broken legs, cracked ribs and you pay your $20 just to let her punch your lift ticket all over again"

Hidden Lake lift with a new HSQ from Doppelmayr CTEC, this summer. Creating the "Hidden Lake EXpress".
4.5 M$.
I have been bugging PM management about a summer time job for most of the past winter.
Time to go up and become a real pest!

I think 4.5 million is about right since Deer Valley's were in the same price range.

Lookout was definetly not Clipper from DV, if that's what you're talking about. It went in before Clipper was removed, and Clipper had lifting frames, the newer grip style, and drive terminal with the rounded end, not the box. The chairs on Lookout (not the hanger arms, just the chairs) came from DV's Quincy/Wasatch triple though
Is that tunnel at Snowbird from Peruvian to Mineral Basin opening this year?

Big White Ski Resort is getting a state-of-the-art, six-passenger chairlift located at the base of the Ridge area.
The new Snow Ghost Express, named after the legendary snow covered trees famous to Big White Ski Resort, will be built by Leitner Poma at a cost of $7M.
The new lift will be adjacent to the current Ridge Rocket Express and the two lifts combined will generate an uphill capacity of 5,400 skiers per hour or 10 passengers every 7 seconds. It increases the hourly lift capacity at the resort to 28,000 riders per hour.
The Snow Ghost Express will be the longest six-passenger chair in Canada - 6190 feet, (1862 metres) long, and will have a ride time of just under six minutes. One of the features of this multi-million dollar lift will be a dual motor capacity, allowing it to run at full power if the backup diesel engine is required.
The record breaking number of guests during our Christmas, Presidents Week and Spring Break periods clearly indicated that we had to expand our existing carrying capacity, especially in the highest-traffic area of the Ridge ski pod. The Snow Ghost Express will definitely reduce the wait times to a minimum during these busy periods," says Michael J. Ballingall, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Big White.
Construction of the Snow Ghost Express commenced April 18th, 2006, a day after the resort closed for the season.
