I was just wondering something. When a lift is installed at a resort what goes up first? Could you make a list? Also when they install the bullwheel and the drive, do they put the wheel in with the gearbox or both separately? I say this because I see lifts delivered with the bullwheel and the gearbox connected. Is the installation different for express lifts?

Generally speaking the concrete goes in first
. From there, the schedule is usually dependent on the availability of parts and other contractors. Helicopters can be the tough ones to schedule, so you tend to schedule around them. For a drive bullwheel there is quite a bit of work with fitting and alignment of the bullwheel, gearbox, motors(s) etc. A shop environment is better suited for this kind of work, and relieves some of the work load on site.

I would guess yes if you add a mid station. You would just need a second set of track ropes

Speaking of the topic, how exactly do they make a perfectly straight line up something long and with uneven ground, the mountain? From what I can tell I think sometimes terminals are built first then towers later.
