The diagonal cut on the end of the cross arm and the smaller x-y bolt holes threw me until I did some research.

The diagonal cut goes back to the first PSA detach models in the States-- the Flyer has them-- but the smaller X-Y bolt holes look like they'll prevent proper alignment unless the tower is exactly correct in line. I also notice the lifting eyes have changed to what everyone else was already using. You guys noticed that no-one uses the plastic wheels the way the book says, eh?

Actually thy have done away with the y bolt, its just the x (horizontal) bolt. The axle rest on a plate inside the cross arm, and plumbing the sheaves is done with a shim where it rests at the end of the cross arm. Also the amount of gauge adjustment that can be done by sliding the axle in and out is reduced, which is why the x holes are smaller.

Long range Snow Valley has indicated that they'd like to install a detachable quad chair. I would also like to see them get Chair 4 (Riblet Triple) working again.
