This evidently a Rowema/Mueller triple chairlift at a dormant ski area near Antigonish, Nova Scotia.
I hiked the area which is owned by the town but has been closed for about 8-9 years now. The parking lot is open and they allow hikers on the site.

This was a very tricky lift to identify. At first I figured it was Poma but then it didn't match exactly to any poma pics. So then I found a picture of the A-frame drive terminal and chairs on the Rowema site matched perfectly. I'd say it's maybe 20 years old and looks to be in reasonably good shape and well built. Has anyone else seen anything like this before?

The chairs are wooden slat seats, galvanized and almost look like old Poma doubles.

I figured the towers looked like Poma too. Close but.......

All the chairs are off and neatly stacked.
The clear liftline to the left was for a 1968 Poma T-bar. It looks like all but the bottom of that lift were removed. Poma surface lifts are extremely common in the province as backups so I imagine someone bought it for parts or towers.

Here is what the top looks like, this almost exactly matches a pic on the Rowema site which is how I identified the lift.

The drive bullwheel of the lift. The engine room upstairs was open but it was too dark to snap any pics of it.
Vandals ransacked the liftie huts and it looks like the controls were ripped out. I didn't look the engines and brakes over too much.

This structure exactly matches the pic from the Rowema site and it's how I identified the lift.
Has anyone seen anything else like it before? This is not a common lift at all.
